Where are we today?

At Presidential Pools, our team is made up largely of lifetime Arizona residents who grew up around pools. Nobody has more experience transforming backyards than Presidential Pools. Even after 30 years in business, we are still humbled the be the most trusted pool builder in Arizona. It is this trust that compels us to keep you updated on the current state of pool construction in Arizona.

In 2020, as families spent more time in their homes, the interest in swimming pools and home improvement increased dramatically. This trend did not slow down in 2021 and continued into early 2022. This increased demand put an industry-wide strain on the supply of materials, equipment, and the availability of skilled labor.

Presidential Pools is highly selective in the brands that we carry, offering only the highest-quality products in each phase. Our partners and suppliers are working diligently to keep up with the demand but, despite our best efforts, the industry continues to fall behind.

Unfortunately, this increased demand means delays in the construction process as a whole. While it is impossible to give an answer on delayed timelines since each project varies in scope, everyone at Presidential Pools is motivated to work through this challenging time while maintaining our standards of construction and quality.

To the best of our estimations, our current timeframes for the construction process are below:

Once permits are submitted, it can take up to 4-6 weeks to excavate your pool

Once excavated, the current timeframe to interior finish is 20-24 weeks

Presidential Pools is working hard to bring these timeframes down as quickly as possible.
